The famous monument in Bucharest, the Arch of Triumph, will close soon. Interested tourists can still see the exceptional panorama from the top of the monument until October 16.
According to Bucharest’s general mayor, Nicusor Dan, the Arch of Triumph is open every Saturday and Sunday, between 12:00 and 20:00, until October 16. Bucharest residents and tourists can enjoy a unique panorama of the city with the help of the four telescopes located on the terrace for free.

Moreover, visitors can also enjoy an exceptional exhibition inside the monument. In the exhibition’s first section, viewers may find comics signed by Alexandru Ciubotariu, Octav Ungureanu, Robert Obert, and Ionuț Popescu. In the second section, fifteen students from Bucharest’s Nicolae Tonitza and Dimitrie Paciurea high schools are featured.
Located in northern Bucharest, the Arch of Triumph is one of the most important historical landmarks of the city. The monument reminds passers-by of the Romanian Army’s victory in the First World War and the Great Union of 1918 – one of the most important events in Romania’s history.
