ARCHY FEST- ARCHITECTURAL HYPOSTASES EDITION 1_2023 is held in the context of the 130th anniversary of the School of Architecture, the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Interior Architecture, the 20th anniversary of the Product Design Department within the framework of UAUIM Bucharest and the World Architecture Day.
The project in which the event is held is co-financed by Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB as part of the Bucharest Home 2023 Program.
The event will take place between September 29 and October 1 on Edgar Quinet Street, and offers Bucharest residents of all ages interested in architecture and urban space an opportunity to discover architecture and architects in all their guises.
During the three days, rue Edgar Quinet will be transformed into a space for exploring and experimenting with architecture. Visitors will be able to discover and purchase objects created by architects; they will be able to participate in workshops and workshops for adults and children organized by architecture offices and non-profit associations; they will be able to view exhibitions, installations, architecture books, groups that include architects, music, food & drinks and much more.

The project proposes bringing architecture to the street and connecting the professional community with the local public consumers of the architecturally built space. Moreover, an inter-presentation is a desired active part of the architect profession, which would allow the citizens of Bucharest to dialogue with specialists in the field.
Specifically, there will be several exhibitions, installations, presentations, workshops, performances and creative activities, concentrated within an Architecture Festival called ARCHY FEST, which will take place between September 29 and October 1 on Edgar Quinet Street and on October 2.
Thus, for three days, at the end of September and the beginning of October, through the events organized within the Festival, we aim, on the one hand, to explain the architectural postures that form the domain and consolidate the image of the Architect, and on the other hand, to understand and experience architecture from the perspective of the direct consumer: the resident of Bucharest.
