Nikos Vertis – 8 – 9 February 2024, Palace Hall
Nikos Vertis’ concert in Bucharest will occur for two days, February 8 and 9, 2024. His fans will enjoy two days with their favourite Greek singer, who enchanted many music fans worldwide.
In November 2015, Nikos Vertis performed for the first time at the Palace Hall. Nikos has had extraordinary success, and here we are after nine years, 14 concerts and over 50,000 spectators at his concerts, this time not only in Bucharest but also in Cluj.
Vertis is considered one of the most successful Greek musicians of all time. His music is still popular today and has been covered by other artists such as Yiannis Parios and Sakis Rouvas. ALPHAVILLE – 11 February 2024, Palace Hall
The German synth pop/rock trio Alphaville enjoyed significant success in the United States with their first mega-hits, „Forever Young” and „Big in Japan,” and went on to a career lasting in Europe, South America and Asia.
Alphaville was formed after lead singer Marian Gold and Bernhard Lloyd met in Berlin in 1981. The pair were heavily influenced by UK indie acts like Tubeway, Army, Gary Numan and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). Gold had written „Big in Japan” in 1979 after hearing the music of Holly Johnson’s band Big in Japan.

Thomas Anders – 15 February 2024, Palace Hall
Thomas Anders, the German artist famous worldwide for the hits released with Modern Talking, will perform at Palace Hall on February 15, 2024. The musician will return to Romania in Valentine’s month for a live concert with the band, during which he will perform the most beautiful love songs of the 80s and 90s.

The legendary opera singer Placido Domingo was supposed to give a concert at the Palace Hall in Bucharest on February 26, 2024. Still, the concert has been postponed, and the artist is not going to make it to Romania. The artist will take the stage at a later date with the soprano Adela Zaharia and the Valahia Symphony Orchestra, with the Spanish conductor Jordi Bernacer at the podium.
He has recorded over a hundred complete operas. Ville Valo – April 8, 2024, Palace Hall
Ville Valo, the former frontman of HIM, is bringing his solo tour, „Neon Noir,” to Bucharest on April 8th, 2024 at the Palace Hall – Sala Palatului.
This tour marks a new chapter for Valo after HIM disbanded in 2017. Performing under the moniker VV, he released his debut solo album „Neon Noir” in early 2023. The creation process was solitary, with Valo playing all the instruments during the pandemic.
A music scene veteran since 1991, the 46-year-old Valo hails from Helsinki, Finland. He began his musical journey as a bassist and drummer before co-founding HIM in 1991, where he took center stage as lead singer and songwriter. Over the years, he has collaborated with acts like Agents, The 69 Eyes, and Apocalyptica. Valo’s signature baritone voice is renowned for its incredible range, making him a true standout in the music world.

Lara Fabian – 21 April 2024, Palace Hall
Lara Fabian, or Lara Crokaert, by her real name, was born in Etterbeek (Brussels – Belgium) and started composing music in 1978 after receiving a piano from her parents. In 1986, he recorded his first single, „L’Aziza est en pleurs,” already having the first prize at the Le Tremplin de Bruxelles contest. Two years later, she became internationally known with the song „Croire,” with which she represented Luxembourg at Eurovision.
Fabian has written for other artists, such as French female singers Chimène Badi, Nolwenn Leroy and Myriam Abel. She also composed for Daniel Lévi and works with a former contestant from „Nouvelle Star 3”, Roland. She has often praised the voice and talent of successful female singer Amel Bent, a contestant on that show. She wrote „Dis-moi comment t’aimer” for Greek singer George Perris on his album Un Souhait. „Imaginer” was initially written in English under the name ‘Broken Vow’, by Fabian and songwriter Walter Afanasieff.

Inspired by the music of all peoples and wanting to include all genres – from pop to jazz and classical music- in an impeccable repertoire, Thomas Lauderdale founded Pink Martini in 1994. Initially, to provide more beautiful musical backgrounds and much more suited, by their variety, to international events that aimed to raise funds for causes such as civil rights, affordable housing, the environment, libraries, education or parks.
Pink Martini crosses genres such as classical, Latin, traditional pop, and jazz to appeal to a broad audience. In 1995, Thomas Lauderdale called China Forbes, one of his colleagues from Harvard University, and invited her to join the band. Their first single, Sympathique, was released in 1997 and was nominated as „Song of the Year” at the „Victoires de la Musique Awards” in France.
