The Coral Jewish Temple

The Coral Temple is a synagogue belonging to the Jewish Community of Bucharest and the largest mosaic place of worship in the capital. Considered a replica of the famous Tempelgasse Synagogue in Vienna, this temple attracts attention at first glance, through its symmetrical fragmented facade. It is plated with bricks in two colors, and the entrance to the Choral Temple is made through a portal built in Moorish style, with a semicircular shape at the end.
The decorations with rosettes at the top of the temple, the turrets adorned with arches, and the monument dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust, in front of it, make it one of the most cultural and historically significant tourist attractions of the Romanian Capital city.
