This summer, Dâmbovița Delivery returns on June 7 and 8, 2025, transforming the once-forgotten Debarcaderul Timpuri Noi area into a vibrant urban space full of life, creativity, and community connection.
The event runs daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and offers over 30 free activities designed to reconnect Bucharest residents with the Dâmbovița River and with one another.
Reconnect with Water and Nature at Dambovita Delivery
- Water Activities: Enjoy unique experiences on the river with canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rides, accessible to all ages and skill levels.
- Creative Workshops and Art Installations: Participate in hands-on workshops including dance, martial arts, poetry sessions, urban art, and ecological education.
- Public Debates and Dialogues: Engage in discussions focused on climate resilience, pollution impact, and transforming the river into a vital green-blue corridor for the city.

Urban Art on the Riverbank at Dambovita Delivery
The wall at the Timpuri Noi pier will come to life through a collaborative mural. The thread of the work is given by the sinuous flow of the personified river, illustrated in a dynamic and organic style, as a line of life that connects the city with nature.
The mural thus becomes a colourful manifesto for belonging, care and reconnection, and the sound and interactive installations will add new meanings to a forgotten place. Admission is free. All activities are free.
