EUROPAfest Jazz & Blues Festival Bucharest: July 3-12, 2026

EUROPAfest returns to Bucharest between July 3 and 12, 2026, bringing live jazz, blues, pop and classical music to one of the city’s central cultural venues, Sala Luceafărul.

Now in its 33rd edition, EUROPAfest is one of the longest-running international music festivals in Romania and one of Bucharest’s most important summer cultural events. The 2026 edition brings together artists from 14 countries and continues the festival’s tradition of connecting audiences, musicians and cultures through live music.

Most of the 2026 programme takes place at Sala Luceafărul, located on Ion Ghica Street, close to University Square, one of the most accessible areas in central Bucharest. The venue places the festival within walking distance of the Old Town, the National Theatre, Calea Victoriei and several major landmarks of the capital.

For visitors, EUROPAfest is not only a music event, but also an opportunity to discover Bucharest in summer, when the city’s cultural life moves between theatres, concert halls, terraces and historic streets.
