Funko Tango is a three-day tango event in Bucharest from May 10th to 12th, 2024. This exciting event promises a fun-filled weekend of dancing, music, and socializing with fellow tango enthusiasts.
The organizers promise live music, 6 milongas with tandas selected by internationally acclaimed TDjs, and a generous space of 550 sqm of premium dance floor with a lovely view over the lake. If this does not appeal to all tango lovers, we dare you to tell us something better!
The event schedule includes six milongas (tango dance parties) featuring live music by Cuarteto Extraordinario and Duo Ranas. So, whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just starting, there will be plenty of opportunities to practice your moves and enjoy the beautiful tango music.
Funko Tango: DJs and Musical Ensembles
Funko Tango will feature live music by Cuarteto Extraordinario and Duo Ranas. Cuarteto Extraordinario is a renowned tango ensemble that will tap your feet with its energetic and passionate performances. Duo Ranas is a more intimate ensemble that will create a romantic and sultry atmosphere for your dancing pleasure.
The DJs will complete this unique event. Gaston Godoy, Rashmi Singh, Marcelo Rojas, and Tumay Uslu will create an electric tango atmosphere. Also, the Romanian DJs Cristian DT and Bogdan Ruja will definitely contribute to Funko Tango’s success.
