On Friday, October 17, 2025, Greek psychedelic rock pioneers Naxatras take the stage at Quantic Pub in Bucharest.
Performing at 20:00 (doors open earlier), the band will present their bold new album, V, in an intimate and immersive live setting at the club located on Șoseaua Grozăvești 82.
Who Are Naxatras?
Formed in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2012, Naxatras have evolved into one of the most compelling forces in modern psychedelic rock. They blend hard rock grooves, dreamy melodies, and trippy guitar solos with a strong 1970s analog aesthetic, eventually incorporating elements of funk, jazz, electronic music, and Eastern influences.
Their debut self-titled album (Naxatras) was recorded in a single day, entirely live and analog, an approach that became their signature. Follow‑ups II (2016) and III (2018) continued the analog tradition, with III notably followed by a sold‑out live album from Athens’s iconic Gagarin 205 venue.
In 2022, the addition of multi‑instrumentalist Pantelis Kargas expanded the band’s sonic palette on the album IV, leading to more layered compositions and refined structure.
Naxatras’s New Album V: A Cosmic Leap
Released February 28, 2025 via Evening Star Records, V represents the band’s most ambitious chapter yet. It weaves progressive rock, space rock, jazz, world music, and electronic textures into a cohesive cosmic concept. The album centers on the saga of Narahmon and introduces the “Spacekeeper” myth within their evolving mythology.
