TEDxTraian Women brings 11 speakers to Cuibul Artiștilor in Bucharest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for a day dedicated to Empowerment. From a commercial pilot and a disability rights advocate to authors, entrepreneurs and psychologists, the lineup brings together people with different experiences of finding their voice, questioning expectations and changing direction.
Under the message “Turn on the power,” the event explores strength through personal choices, relationships, health, creativity and community. Organised independently under a TED licence, TEDxTraian Women invites audiences to consider how they recognise their own power and what they choose to do with it.
A Conversation About Courage, Identity and Change
The theme makes room for forms of strength that can be easy to overlook: telling your story, setting a boundary, asking for support or taking a first step into unfamiliar territory. Across the programme, speakers will bring personal, professional and social perspectives to questions of autonomy, identity, resilience and change.
Organisers Irina Ionete and Sarah Ramezani describe the event as a space where participants can explore what empowerment means in their own lives. Their ambition is for audiences to leave with a new question, a conversation worth continuing or the impulse to make a change. The different backgrounds represented on stage are central to that approach, connecting individual experiences with wider questions about representation, opportunity and belonging.
TEDxTraian Women is open to everyone, regardless of gender. The TEDxWomen format focuses on ideas with particular relevance to women and girls, while recognising their significance for society as a whole.

- Antoneta Galeș: Organisational strategist, coach and author.
- Andreea Chirilă: Image consultant, startup founder and PhD in fashion and visual arts.
- Andreea Irimia: Healthy lifestyle consultant and trainer, nutrition and nutrition psychology specialist, and author.
- Oana Rotariu: Self-esteem coach, author and survivor.
- Loredana Pulpan: Author of The Erotic Revolution, founder of Vox Amoris and intimacy therapist.
- Daiana Dăjulescu: Commercial pilot, pilot ambassador and international speaker.
- Teodora Dumitru: Author, content creator and disability rights advocate.
- Benyamin Saeednia: Creator of projects with social impact and founder of Reading Corner.
- Aniela Firulovic: Psychotherapist, psychologist and People & Community Director at The Social Incubator.
- Victor Țăpeanu: Actor, producer and director.
The event will be moderated by Bianca Purcărea, artist, singer, musical theatre actress and content creator.
