West Side Flower Fest 2026 will occur from June 5 to June 7 in Drumul Taberei Park, Sector 6 of the Capital, and on the adjacent boulevard. Floating gardens on the lake, giant flower arrangements, over 100 exhibitors and traders, workshops, shows, conferences, and competitions are just some of the surprises that await visitors.
West Side Flower Fest – WSFF, organized by the City Hall of Sector 6 – will undoubtedly become the point of attraction in Bucharest between June 5 and June 7 and one of the events to attend that weekend. There will be giant arrangements, theme and sensory gardens, concerts, shows for the little ones, and workshops.
Drumul Taberei Park turns into a fairytale garden. For three days, we will delight our eyes and soul with beauty: flowers of all kinds, in all shapes and colours, impressive arrangements, and fun and quality leisure time spent together in the community.
West Side Flower Fest 2026: “Origins – The Garden of Regions and the Craftsman”

This year’s theme is Origins: 14 original gardens created by students from 7 landscape and horticulture faculties in the country. The public will admire them and vote for their favourites; the most beautiful ones will be awarded.
“ORIGINI” positions West Side Flower Fest as a major educational event, where the general public, students, and specialists interact with ideas about landscape, sustainability, and living cultural heritage.
The emphasis will be on native plants and natural or recycled materials, with reinterpreted ethnographic elements and public interaction integrated into the design.
The main attractions of the West Side Flower Fest

Drumul Taberei Park will be transformed into a fairy tale land. 14 theme gardens will be set up by students and professors from specialised universities and will enter the competition.
Free workshops for thousands of children. For three days, children of all ages can participate in gardening, painting, fan making, braided bracelets or flower paintings, recycling, robotics and Lego workshops, chemistry workshops, and arithmetic workshops. On the grass, there will also be an area dedicated to babies and preschoolers, with sensory workshops.
Good food and flowers to take home. Over 100 merchants, the most so far, have been selected to participate in this year’s festival. They will be positioned on Drumul Taberei Boulevard, between Str. Brașov and Poiana Muntelui, an area closed to cars and open to pedestrians.
Concerts and shows. The organisers have prepared a lot of surprises for the little ones over the three days, but not only: puppet theatre, circus performances, interactive concerts, costume presentations, makeup and hairstyles, dance demonstrations.
