The West Side Flower Fest, the largest flower festival in Romania, takes place between June 9-11, on an area of 43,000 square meters both in Drumul Taberei Park and partially on Drumul Taberei Blvd., where traffic will be closed.
West Side Flower Fest – WSFF, organized by the City Hall of Sector 6, will undoubtedly become the point of attraction in Bucharest between June 9-11 and one of the Bucharest events to attend that weekend. There will be giant arrangements, theme and sensory gardens, concerts, shows for the little ones, workshops, and visitors can admire the dress made of 1,000 recyclable roses.
A brand new West Side event! After the City Hall of Sector 6’s success with its West Side Christmas Story, which was one of the most attractive Bucharest Christmas Markets, the organizers are preparing for the biggest flower festival in the country. The West Side Flower Fest’s first edition will take place three days, between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., in Drumul Taberei Park and on Drumul Taberei Blvd., between Brașov Street and Poiana Muntelui Avenue. The perimeter will be closed to road traffic from Thursday, June 8, at 8:30 p.m., until June 12, at 5:00 a.m.
One of the landmark events we will be holding annually from now on is the West Side Flower Fest. Flower Festival. It will be in the street, near the greenhouses in Drumul Taberei Park, on the principle of open streets, and we will have countless surprises.

Among other Europe’s famous florists, Nicu Bocancea confirmed his presence at the West Side Flower Fest 2023
Actually, the festival brings together 50 exhibitors and many specialists from the flower and plant industry: landscapers and floral artists, including, as mentioned, Nicu Bocancea, medalist and prizewinner at the most famous international competitions.
He is the 4th florist in Europe and will work for Flower Fest with giant, unique arrangements and a maze for children.
Thematic gardens (romantic, aromatic, decorative vegetables or with reference flowers, etc.) and sensory gardens will be arranged by landscapers, including those from the City Hall of Sector 6, who beautify the parks and streets in the community.
The students of a prominent university will design mini-gardens that will then be put into operation in Drumul Taberei Park, and the seniors, together with specialists, will make a dress from 1,000 recyclable roses. There will be workshops for children and adults who learn to make floral arrangements, concerts and shows for the little ones, and a competition for amateur florists.
Green Week Biodiversity and Sustainability Conference at West Side Flower Fest
During the event, the „Biodiversity and Sustainability in Sector 6” Conference will be organized, which will take place during the green week of the European Commission.
Along Bd. Drumul Taberei, the closed area, in addition to flower exhibitors for sale, who will arrive with dozens of varieties, there will also be street food with selected dishes.
West Side Flower Fest 2023 is announced as a premiere for Bucharest, and it is expected to reach its goal – to have massive success as the biggest flower festival in Romania.
