As part of the actions dedicated to Romanian Army Day, the Ministry of National Defense will organize the event „HONOR to the Romanian Army” on Calea Victoriei in Bucharest (the Romanian Athenaeum—National Military Club) on October 25th and 26th.
The official opening will take place on Friday, October 25, from 7:00 p.m., on the stage located in George Enescu Square, with a show in which the Representative Music of the Army, the 1st Cavalry Division Band of the American Army and artists of the Bucharest National Opera will perform.
On the second day of the event, Saturday, October 26, the program will be opened at 11 a.m. with the parade on Calea Victoriei of the personnel of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Military Tradition Association.
An aircraft of the Romanian Aeroclub will fly over the area, followed by a presentation of Retromobil Romania’s vintage cars.
Also, during the same day, there will be static exhibitions, shows, areas dedicated to children, drill team exercises of the 30th Guards Brigade „Mihai Viteazul”, an artistic program organized on the stage in George Enescu Square, during which guests are artists such as Theodora Baloșin, Norica Enache, Lorena Istrate, Silvia Semeniuc, Letiția Vișoiu, Oana-Elena Frîncu-Vențel and Music of the 30 Guards Brigade, Iulia Mihai, guitarist Andrei Petrescu, Alina Sorescu and the children’s choir, the „Doina” Artistic Ensemble of the Army, the Romanian Gendarmerie Marching Band, the Junior Tronos Group of the Romanian Patriarchate.
The evening will end with the performance of the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra.
