The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant invites everyone in Bucharest to the second annual ARTISTS fair and ARTISANS, from Friday, June 24 to Sunday, June 26, 2022, between 10 am and 6 pm.
Artists and craftspeople who, via their work, support the revival and recovery of traditional crafts, including their modern revaluations, will be present at the event. You will be able to browse and bargain for lovely items manufactured using old-fashioned methods and crafts that are all but extinct, including ceramic vessels, wooden items, glass or glass ornaments, jewelry, various toys, icons on glass or glaze, engravings, paintings, textiles, and lavender decorations.
Additionally, the traditional producers will offer a gourmet selection from honey to baked goods, tea, cakes, and gingerbread. Children can also paint fluffy pictures or create adored mystical merino wool fairies daily at the fair. There will also be workshops for children and a traditional dance show.
Adults must pay EUR 2.43 to enter the fair; pensioners must pay EUR 1.21; students and those with the Euro 26 card must be under 30. Adults with a medium or slight disability must pay EUR 0.61.
