Balkanik Festival Bucharest returns with a new edition, scheduled for September 6-8, 2024, at Grădina Uranus. It will be an anniversary event, Balkanik, as the World Music Festival celebrates eleven years of existence.
The 11th edition of the event brings with it a new component – Balkanik Street Fair. Uranus Street – Strada Uranus closes from September 6 to 8 and opens for a fascinating journey through regional culture and creative traditions through a reinterpreted crafts and crafts fair, jam sessions, workshops and various activities that complement and give scope to the festival.
The public is invited to celebrate musical rhythms collected from around the globe, with dishes inspired by all the world cuisines, a fair that invites local artisans dear to the community and many activities that unite and bring closer each year.
In the Uranus Garden, concerts will take place on the big stage of the festival, exhibitions and art installations, demonstrations of some crafts on the way to extinction, and the public will be able to disconnect from the rhythm of the city in the oasis of nature where relaxation areas will be set up.
