This autumn, Bucharest invites locals and tourists alike to celebrate tradition, gastronomy, and creativity at the Festivalul Roadele Pământului 2025 (Eart Harvest Festival). The event will take place on October 4–5, between 9:00 and 21:00, in the heart of the city, at Rond Kiseleff.
Entry is free, making it a perfect weekend outing for families, friends, and anyone eager to experience the authentic flavors of Romanian autumn.
Festivalul Roadele Pământului: A Festival of Tradition and Taste
The Harvest Festival brings together agricultural producers, artisans, and culinary masters to create a colorful event filled with seasonal delights. Visitors will discover a wide range of authentic Romanian dishes, from lamb pastrami, bulz (polenta with cheese), sarmale, and mici, to sweet treats like pancakes, donuts, kurtos kalacs, gingerbread, and homemade chocolate. Fresh must (young wine), bubble tea, and street food specialities will also be available, offering something for every taste.
Beyond the culinary experience, the festival highlights traditional craftsmanship and creativity. Handmade jewelry, artisanal accessories, cosmetics, jams, and preserves will be on display, alongside autumn-inspired fashion and creations. The event also brings together local publishers and toy makers, making it a welcoming space for children and families.
The Pumpkin Wonderland
One of the most anticipated attractions is “Marea Dovleceală”, a pumpkin-themed area bursting with color and seasonal charm. Here, visitors can take photos in a beautifully decorated autumn setting and join fun workshops for painting and carving pumpkins. Creative activities also include sand painting, face painting, and interactive art corners, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
Moreover, a lively artistic program will animate the main stage, featuring dance performances by the Andra Gogan Academy. Families will also enjoy a special interactive show with Dragonul Colților, as well as live folk music and playful activities for children.
With its blend of authentic Romanian flavors, traditional crafts, artistic performances, and family-friendly activities, Festivalul Roadele Pământului 2025 is more than just a food fair, it is a celebration of autumn itself. Are you visiting Bucharest for the first time or living in the city? This event is the perfect way to experience the warmth and richness of Romanian traditions.
