The 29th edition of EUROPAfest, which will take place in Bucharest from July 1 to 9, will feature artists and bands from 23 nations.
Bucharest residents will get the opportunity to hear musicians from Europe and other continents in themed evenings such as „Jazz at the Palace,” „Summertime Jazz,” „Jazz a Perfect Day,” and „It’s Jazz Time” throughout the course of nine days.
The „Italian Jazz Night,” an evening dedicated solely to Italian performers, will take place in the Royal Palace, Auditorium Hall – National Art Museum of Romania, on July 3 at 8 p.m.
jmEvents is launching an invitation to discover La Bella Italia from a different perspective. Known to most for its history, art, culture, gastronomy, fashion and football, Italy is an attraction for Romanian tourists. But how many know that Is the Italian jazz market one of the top 3 in Europe or host one of the most popular jazz festivals in the world, the Umbria Jazz Festival? Don’t be surprised at how open the Italians are to this genre of music. I’m excited that we can present a premium concert in Romania with valuable artists.
Luigi Gageos, head of EUROPAfest
The evening’s stars will perform musical treats from all across Italy, beginning in the north with Trento and ending in Sicily, in a trip full of passion, variety, and rhythm. Tangostinato, Luca Aletta – piano and Stefano Cardillo – double bass, Haunted Waves, Antonio Saldi – alto saxophone, Esmeralda Sella – piano, Mattia Dallospedale – bass guitar, and Alessandro Ruocco – drums will all take the stage.
According to the organizers, the evening will also include jam sessions that will mix Italian passion and style, tradition and variety, innovation and originality.
