UPDATE: Garden of Lights – The World in Miniature will only be open until January 11, 2026 — this will be the exhibition’s last day of operation.
This year, Garden of Lights brings a new tale to life—Small World. From October 24, 2025, until January 11, 2026, the Botanical Garden will once again glow with an immersive experience, offering visitors a magical journey around the world. Families and friends wandered through European streets, exotic South American vistas, and the mysterious depths of Aussie landscapes, each scene illuminated by spectacular light installations, multimedia scenes, and artistic details.
Just like last year, this exhibition promises to be a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Bucharest during the winter months, creating unforgettable memories in a breathtaking setting.
For those who want to visit Bucharest during Winter, this is another opportunity to enjoy other attractions than the Bucharest Christmas Market.
Organizers have prepared an amazing meeting of worlds: fairy tales, technology and creativity. The exhibition creates a fairytale atmosphere where every step invites visitors to discover a new cultural and geographical destination: from European cities to exotic South American landscapes and the underwater mysteries of Australia.
Dozens of thematic and artistic installations, illuminated trees, multimedia scenes and light shows await discovery, alongside countless photo spots such as firefly fields, light tunnels, Japanese lanterns, Chinese pandas, Dutch windmills, iconic landmarks like Big Ben, London Bridge and the Eiffel Tower, Parisian cafés, Venetian gondolas and even the vibrant Brazilian Carnival.
For children, it is an opportunity to meet their favourite fairy tale characters, and for adults, a sentimental return to their earliest years and a moment of rest from the routine of everyday life. Above all, it is a wonderful chance to spend time with loved ones and capture unforgettable memories in these magical landscapes.
