Grandson brings his high-energy, politically charged alt-rock to Bucharest on Thursday, March 5, 2026, for a first-ever Romanian show at Quantic.
Expect a cathartic night built around his new album INERTIA and the breakthrough hits that made him a global name. Doors open in the evening, with showtime listed at 21:00.
Who is Grandson?
If you’ve heard “Blood // Water,” you’ve heard grandson’s calling card: big riffs, bruising beats and lyrics that bite. Born Jordan Edward Benjamin, the Canadian-American artist broke out with the A Modern Tragedy Vol. 1 EP (2018), then cemented his voice with the albums Death of an Optimist (2020) and I Love You, I’m Trying (2023). In September 2025, he released his third studio album, INERTIA, launching a new global tour.
How Grandson got here: a fast rise and a fierce message
Grandson built a following by tackling real-world themes (power, protest, mental health) and delivering them through a hybrid of alternative rock, rap-rock and electronic edge. The smash single “Blood // Water” climbed multiple Billboard charts and became a staple at festivals and arena shows. Collaborations with artists like Mike Shinoda (“Running From My Shadow”) widened his reach, while relentless touring turned songs into communal shout-alongs. INERTIA arrived in late 2025 with 10 tight tracks and a harder, leaner sound made for the stage.
What you’ll likely hear in Bucharest
This tour is built around INERTIA: short, punchy, high-octane songs that land hard live – plus crowd favourites from earlier releases.
Expect highlights like:
- “Blood // Water” – the breakthrough anthem fans scream word-for-word
- “Dirty” and “Darkside” – setlist regulars with big, mosh-ready hooks
- New tracks from INERTIA such as “BRAINROT” and “SELF IMMOLATION”, alongside tour-tested cuts from previous albums
Setlists vary from night to night, but the arc remains consistent: tension, release, and a collective singalong by the finale.
Tickets
This is Grandson’s debut show in Romania, and demand is expected to be strong. Early-bird allotments sold quickly in initial waves. Use official channels only.
