Between October 7 and 8, the PeriFEERIC – NeighborGOOD Days of Bucharest Festival transforms several locations in the peripheral areas of the Capital into centers of artistic expression that will host a series of attractive events for audiences of all ages.
PeriFEERIC – NeighborGOOD Days of Bucharest Festival aims to spread the joy of art in every corner of the city to create an authentic connection between artists and communities, but also to contribute to the encouragement of the inhabitants to discover the unknown specificity of peripheral areas by actively participating in various cultural events.

The festival starts on Saturday, October 7, with a magic show for children and parents, scheduled at 10:00 a.m., at Teatrul Nou (Strada Matei Voievod no. 88), which will actively involve the little ones in magic tricks and offer them a fun and entertaining experience. The events dedicated to children also include acting workshops, supported by the Film & Theater Academy Studio actors on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, at 11:00 a.m., in the headquarters on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard no. 138-142.
Bucharest will reveal its lesser-known face to street art enthusiasts during the guided tour Bucharest Alternativ – a journey in street art from the center to the periphery, which will start on Saturday, October 7, at 11.00 a.m., in the University Square and will end, around 14.00, at A.M. Social Space, on Str. Constantin Bosianu no. 21. Bucharesters who have (re)discovered the city during the tour. Still, also residents of the area can participate here, between 14.00 and 16.00, in a jam session supported by the Bucharest Sax Quartet and a series of graffiti and stencil workshops.
Teatrul Nou offers the citizens of Bucharest a new topic of reflection on freedom and changes in a futuristic society with the play „Strangers in the Future”, a comedy written and directed by Andrei Adam. Featuring the actors Robert Poiană / Cristian Ioniță, Crina Zvobodă / Ioana Emilia Luculescu, Radu Catană / Massimiliano Nugnes, Elena Ariadna Șeulean / Iulia Alexandra Neacșu, the show, scheduled at 8:00 p.m., is an adaptation of the play „The Strangers, „awarded in the Romanian dramaturgy competitions: „How do you see the future?” (Reșita, 2021) and FITIC 2022 (Constanța).
The first day of the PeriFEERIC program will end in an explosion of energy with a concert by the well-known band Robin and the Backstabbers, scheduled at 9:30 p.m., at Recul, on Splaiul Unirii no. 160.
PeriFEERIC expands on Sunday, October 8, with a treasure hunt in the Rahova neighbourhood, scheduled between 11.30 and 13.30, in which participants will discover the mysteries of emblematic places in this area of the Capital. The urban treasure hunt will start in front of the Liberty shopping center (Progresului Road no. 151-171) and will end at A.M. Social Space (Str. Constantin Bosianu no. 21). To participate, interested people can sign up for the treasure hunt by filling out this form.
The evening program of the second day of the festival includes the play „A Divine Show” by David Javerbaum, a black comedy directed by Iuliia Alexandra Neacșu, with Cristian Ioniță, Radu Catană / Florin Galan, Eduard Cîrlan / Vlad Andrei, scheduled at 17.00, at Teatrul Nou. Audiences will enjoy the „adventures” of a God displeased with the modern world, which offers a new version of the Ten Commandments adapted to the social media generation.
Infinite Theater joins the PeriFEERIC series of theatrical events with the show „Whom am I gonna marry?”, based on a text written by Silvia Gagu, directed by Bogdan Gagu, starring Silvia Gagu, Dorin Enache, Alex Floroiu and Maria You cost Scheduled at 7:30 p.m., the theatrical performance transforms the scene of the Infinite Theater in Strada Mihai Eminescu no. 127 at the epicentre of a continuous search for happiness in the context of a bachelorette party.
From 18.00, the artist Cristina Lupu will perform in the J’ai Bistrot garden on Calea Griviței no. 55. A graduate of the Faculty of Composition, Jazz department, at the National University of Music in Bucharest, Cristina Lupu will offer the people of Bucharest an intimate experience with a recital of her compositions brought together under the title „Sweet Amnesia,” a collection of stories included on the album of the same title.
The PeriFEERIC Festival’s musical offer also includes the pianist Flavian Chitic’s concert at 18.00 at A.M. Social Space, dedicated to classical music lovers. Flavian Chitic graduated from the „Victor Brauner” Arts High School in Piatra Neamț and the National University of Music in Bucharest. With a rich concert activity with the Royal Choir, the „George Enescu” Philharmonic and the „Ion Dumitrescu” Philharmonic from Râmnicu Vâlcea, but also as a baritone in the choir of the Saint Joseph Cathedral, he will offer an exceptional musical performance, which will indeed remain in the memory the public.
