Pleasant Holidays Includes Bucharest in Its Travel Package to Europe

Pleasant Holidays and Journese are expanding their European offerings with the addition of Bucharest, Romania, as announced by Travel Market Report.

The destination, a key embarkation and disembarkation point for Danube River Cruises, marks the 25th country in the Pleasant and Journese portfolio.

The brands already offer some tours, including Private Day Trip to Dracula’s Castle, Panoramic Bucharest Tour, Full-Day Bucharest & Parliament Palace, and more coming in 2023 in Bucharest. The two will now expand their offerings.

Pleasant is adding reservations at six Bucharest hotels ranging from 3- to 5-stars, including Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town, Moxy Bucharest Old Town, and Sheraton Bucharest Hotel. In addition, Pleasant and Journese will now offer reservations at InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest, JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, and The Marmorosch Bucharest Autograph Collection.

As part of the news, Pleasant and Journese will also offer land transfers to and from Giurgiu and other cruise ports and to and from Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport (OTP).

Bucharest is conveniently close to several ports along the lower Danube River and a favourite pre- and post-cruise destination. Romania also boasts lush river valleys, majestic mountain ranges, historic churches, awe-inspiring palaces, and castles dating as far back as the 13th Century. It’s an ideal addition to our Europe lineup when the continent is highly popular with U.S. travellers.

Jack E. Richards, President and CEO of Pleasant Holidays

This proves that Bucharest is becoming a desirable destination among international travellers, including the ones in the US.
