Pumpkin Caravan (Caravana Dovlecilor) brings three days of Halloween performances, pumpkin carving and live concerts to IOR Park in Bucharest, from 23 to 25 October 2026. Held in the park’s La Glob area, the Parade of Giants edition features giant puppets, illuminated characters and performers on stilts, alongside an artisan fair and activities for children. Admission is free.
For visitors spending the weekend in Bucharest, the event offers a chance to explore the Titan neighbourhood and enjoy an autumn festival beyond the city centre. The programme combines daytime family activities with evening rock concerts, with performances scheduled across Saturday and Sunday.
Parade of Giants in IOR Park

The giant puppets are the centrepiece of the weekend, appearing alongside illuminated robots, skeletons and costumed performers. Vlad the Impaler on stilts and witches moving above the crowds bring a Romanian connection to the Halloween theme.
Saturday, 24 October, is the main day for the giant characters, with puppets, robots on stilts and the illuminated skeleton show scheduled between 15:00 and 18:00. Earlier in the afternoon, the programme includes an appearance by the Andra Gogan Dance Academy.
Visitors are welcome to attend in costume, while the seasonal decorations provide a setting for photographs throughout the festival area.
Pumpkin Carving, Puppet Theatre and the Autumn Fair
Pumpkin carving and painting are among the event’s main activities, giving children and parents a chance to take part between performances. Face painting, magic and children’s entertainment complete the family programme.
The weekend also features Muppets Show Zburdalici and Bibabo puppet theatre, with a Halloween-themed production scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Magician Tzuni is among the announced attractions.
An artisan fair runs alongside the entertainment, bringing together handmade products, seasonal decorations and local crafts. Food stalls complete the festival, allowing visitors to combine the performances with a meal and a walk through IOR Park.
