The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant awaits you at the concert on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 7 p.m. to launch a new album by the old traditional group Trei Parale, Romania. 100 minutes.

The event will take place at the Horia Bernea Studio. The ticket price is 70 lei – around EUR 15.

After five years of work, Trei Parale launched its last record production. The album also marks Electrecord’s reappearance on the music market, being the first vinyl (double-LP) produced after 27 years.
We started working on the present disc in 2018 when Romania celebrated 100 years since the achievement of the Union of lands in which Romanians formed the majority of the population. We then tried to realize in 100 minutes a journey through the sounds of Romania 100 years ago. (…) So, we desired to have a very diverse program, which would include all the regions of the country, a wide variety of instruments, both from those of the peasants and those of the fiddlers; various musical formats: doines, songs, game songs, ritual moments. (…) The recordings took place over a period of two years in our intimate spaces, the living rooms of apartments or country houses, and they carry with them the repercussions of these places.
