Bucharest International Half Marathon & 10K by Constantina Dita: April 26, 2026

Created at the initiative of Olympic marathon champion Constantina Dita, the Bucharest International Half Marathon & 10K returns on Sunday, April 26, 2026, for its 10th anniversary edition. This World Athletics Label road race brings runners onto some of the city’s best-known boulevards and landmarks, with a flat and fast course designed for both competitive athletes and amateur participants.

Whether you want to chase a personal best, take on your first major road race in Bucharest, or simply enjoy an active Sunday in the capital, this event remains one of the city’s standout spring sports highlights.

    Cautions

Part of the streets along the competition route will be closed during the event, so traffic restrictions should be expected around the race area and on several central boulevards. The easiest way to reach the start zone is by metro, using Aviatorilor station, which is close to the Charles de Gaulle Square and King Mihai I Park entrance.

If you are driving, parking availability may be limited in the area on race day, so arriving early is strongly recommended. Participants should also aim to be at the start area at least 30 minutes before their race begins.
