The international festival of rituals, plant experiences, and natural products is the largest event in Eastern Europe.
Therme Bucharest, the largest wellness center in Europe and a leader in promoting well-being, announces the second edition of the Herbarium Festival from May 13-26, 2024.
This event, the biggest in Eastern Europe dedicated to the art, culture, and science of using therapeutic plants for health, relaxation, and rejuvenation, promises an unforgettable experience. The festival spans 14 days, from morning till night, featuring hundreds of unique rituals, infusions, and plant-based experiences. Over 45 international masters in aromatherapy, herbalism, and holistic therapy from 17 countries will participate.
Therme Bucharest will also host the Herbarium Expo (May 17-19 and May 24-26), where visitors can discover and test a wide range of natural beauty and care products from both local and international producers.
The unique program includes over 350 ancient rituals, infusions, and unique plant experiences, and all included in the entrance fee. Visitors can enjoy more than 50 daily activities, such as special Aufguss sessions, fresh plant infusions, hammam rituals, shamanic rituals, sauna yoga, guided meditation, scrubbing sessions, Norwegian badstu (sauna with contrasting temperatures), cleansing rituals with birch bundles, wet sauna sessions, facial muscle exercises, purification rituals with smoke, exfoliation sessions, assisted cold water immersions, and guided meditation with nature sounds.

The Herbarium Expo enhances the experience with the best natural ingredient products and workshops from over 20 exhibitors. The second edition of the Herbarium Expo on May 17-19 and May 24-26, 2024, on the Elysium Terrace, allows visitors to try the best nature-inspired products. This year’s expo features over 20 local and international exhibitors showcasing a wide selection of natural cosmetics, beauty products, plant-based care items, plant syrups, honey-based supplements, natural perfumes, lavender products, smoothies, teas, infusions, and more.
Nature teaches and protects us, offering free workshops from exhibitors throughout the Herbarium Expo. Visitors can participate in fascinating workshops, from creating personalized perfumes to tasting artisanal teas made with Romanian fruits and Carpathian plants. Attendees can explore the art of perfumes, learn the secrets of natural deodorants/antiperspirants, and discover body care and hydration techniques. Workshops will cover the benefits of Techirghiol mud, skin care routines, and the use of essential oils for self-massage techniques, offering a holistic and unique experience exclusive to the Herbarium Festival.
