The Palestinian Film Festival, organized by the Mahmoud Darwish Cultural Center, will occur between April 18 and 21 in Bucharest. It will have a new artistic direction and present Palestinian cinema as a Cinema of Existence. The name reminds the spectators of the current regional context.
Through our center’s activities and primarily through the Palestinian Film Festival, we address all those interested in exploring and better understanding Palestinian culture and traditions. The festival aims to create communication bridges through films and promote understanding and intercultural dialogue.
Anca Cristescu, Mahmoud Darwish Cultural Centre’s president
