Romexpo’s history dates back to April 27, 1962, when it was officially inaugurated to serve as Romania’s primary exhibition and trade fair venue. In 2003, Romexpo becomes a member of the Association of Fair and Exhibition Organizers from Central and Eastern Europe (CEFA). This association aims to open new markets of interest to its members and partners (exhibitors, sponsors, VIPs, etc.).

In its more than 50 years of existence, the Romexpo Exhibition Center has gone through various stages of development, restructuring and modernization. In 2016, an ambitious program for the development and modernization of the Romexpo Exhibition Center was launched. It started with opening the gates to Bucharest so that Romexpo could become the center of great urban relaxation. In December 2017, new exhibition spaces, pavilions B, were put into use.
Pavilions B1 and B2 (27,000 m2 – total exhibition area) are ideal for international events.
