The fastest and most reliable way is by metro. The university is served by Universitate station, located on Metro Line M2 (blue line), which runs north-south through the city. Trains run every 1–3 minutes during peak hours and every 7–9 minutes off-peak, from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The metro is modern, safe, and affordable, with a single trip ticket costing 3 RON, or 5 RON if you’re combining metro and bus rides.
If you're arriving from Henri Coandă International Airport (Otopeni), there are three main options:

Express Bus Line 100 – This direct airport bus runs 24/7 and stops at Piața Universității, right in front of the university. The trip takes about 30–40 minutes, and the fare is 3–5 RON.

Train + Metro – You can take the train from Otopeni Airport to Gara de Nord, Bucharest’s central train station. Trains run every 40 minutes. From Gara de Nord, switch to Metro Line M2 and exit at Universitate. The whole journey takes around 50 minutes.

Taxi or Ride-Hailing – Services like Uber, Bolt, and Yango are fully available in Bucharest. A ride from the airport to the university typically takes 18–25 minutes and costs between 60 and 80 RON (about €12–15), depending on traffic.
If you're already in Bucharest, several bus and trolleybus lines connect to University Square. Lines 61, 66, 85, 90, 122, 137, 311, and 381 all have stops within a few steps of the main campus. Buses and trolleys are integrated into the same ticketing system as the metro, and you can pay with contactless cards or via mobile apps like 24Pay or InfoTB.
